As a designer for Ferguson and working in the Build with Ferguson and Showroom pod, I work on all kinds of creative projects from html display ads, digital signage, paid social, organic social, web page design, ad campaign creation, print, CTV commercials and more. This page displays a taste of some of those projects.
This first project is complete sale campaign for Build.com. The challenge was to make a spring black friday sale graphic identity that would work through all sale channels. I worked with a teammate and developed a concept with the idea of spring in mind while keeping the black aesthetic to instantly communicate the theme. Honeycombs symbolized bees which also symbolize spring but also lend to the building aspect of home improvement. Here you see a case study, a few emails that i created.
Here you see a CTV commercial I created motion badge and brand callouts animations while working with the media team who created the amazing full video.
This was a really fun project I got to lead. I worked with Lead writer Holly, team lead Glenn, and lead videography Alex. This was a CTV commercial that educated consumers about build.com's on site tool, The Project Tool. We started with brainstorming sessions, storyboards and then I proudly animated the entire commercial. This was an honor to work with such a talented team and get to create this project.
Here are some projects created for the Ferguson side of the business. These are digital signages that are shown throughout the Showrooms across the country. The first video is to help educate customers in the store about new product tags for product information. I worked with a writer to come up with keypoints for this video and I illustrated and animated it using After Effects.
The second is an ongoing campaign called Real Spaces Redone. Which shows remodels before and afters. I animated the logo for our team and used it as an intro. I created the rest of the video in After Effects and used assets for the before and after from the OWN brand team.
Here is a small campaign to highlight an event for Ferguson. I created a simple logo asset to use throughout a series of emails sent to event goers and used for collateral.
When Ferguson launched a new showroom division i was able to work on different aspects of the launch such as print ads, physical signage, business cards, and social media static and video templates. Below are a print ad and A frame sign from this launch.
I was challenged with learning a new platform we had not used before called DV360. It was a fun challenge which I was able to lead, create SOPS for the other pods and our team, teach one on one other teammates and ultimately create templates and make some really cool innovative html ads.
I have the opportunity to work on paid social and even create some templates for video ads. Here is a cobranded video ad that was run on Facebook.
Pinterest is another channel that we create ads for. Here are some fun Pinterest campaigns that are fun. I photoshopped flatlays and paired them with color palettes and a larger room shot. As with most projects this was a group think tank that came out successful.
Moments campaign was another successful Pinterest campaign that I was able to work on. Our talented team ideated a theme to capture life and ultimately landed on Polaroid style theme to frame the image. It has evolved over time to become large picture heavy with smaller Polaroids in the corner.
Finally here are a few Instagram stories used as highlights on the Showroom Instagram.
It has been fun to learn and work on so many different projects for Build as well as Ferguson.
